For He Himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in His flesh the dividing wall of hostility by abolishing the law of commandments expressed in ordinances, that He might create in Himself one new man in place of the two, so making peace. ~Ephesians 2:14-15

The world you live in doesn’t make sense, Dear One.  Trying to wrap your head around why things happen the way they do will not be helpful.  It is a sin-filled world with an enemy who has been given free reign.  Logic and reason can’t make sense out of such things.  It is so very far from what I created it to be, yet I cannot walk away from it.  I will not.  Even if My creation abandons me, I will not abandon it.  When My children choose freely to walk away it breaks My heart.  When they choose pain over healing, or bondage over freedom, it is hard for me to understand, too.  Why won’t they choose me?  Do they not know I am for them?  Do they not know I can make them whole?

            Instead, they choose to lash out at each other.  They choose crime.  They choose drugs.  They choose toxic relationships.  They choose hate.  They choose any number of things to numb themselves, only they don’t realize in choosing those things they give the enemy more of a foothold, not just in their lives, but in the earth as a whole.  Then, the ones called by My name live in a darker and darker world, trying to logically figure out the whys of daily struggles, which are really age-old tactics which have run amuck.  It is mind boggling to see how far things have fallen since the garden.

            You must know that why is the wrong question.  Why never has an answer.  It seeks to place blame.  Finger pointing and blaming keeps the focus off of the real question.  It is a diversion.  The real question is what.  What do you do now?  What can you learn?  What is My role in your own life?  Do you find someone to blame or do you make the most of the hard things?  I am not saying it is easy, but if you shift your focus from the situation in which you find yourself, to what you can gain from it, the burden will lighten.  If you give me control as best you know how, I will come in to help you.  The ways of the world are such that you will always have trouble, but I have made a way out.  Not for the future in heaven, when you come to be with me, but for now while we are yet apart. 

Seek me and you will find me.  Seek only cognitive answers and you will find none that make sense fully.  The enemy is playing not only a mental game, but also a spiritual one.  If he can keep you believing it is simply about having more understanding and knowledge and who is to blame, he can keep you in shackles.  Don’t trust your own understanding; it is not dependable.  Trust in me.  Look to me.  Read My words, for they are My heart.  Listen to My voice. Then you will live in the world, but not of it.
